An Israeli strike on a school sheltering displaced people in Jabaliya, northern Gaza, killed four, including a child, according to Gaza’s health ministry.
Footage showed classrooms reduced to rubble, with debris, burnt mattresses and scattered food items among the wreckage.
Gaza officials report over 51,000 deaths since the war began on 7 October 2023.
Meanwhile, dissent is growing within Israel’s military, with thousands of retired and reservist soldiers signing letters opposing the war’s continuation.
