New horrors emerge after Sudan's RSF paramilitary takes over el-Fasher

Tens of thousands of people are still trapped in Sudan's El-Fasher five days after the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) seized the city. Fleeing survivors said on Saturday that paramilitary fighters separated families and killed children in front of their parents, and fresh satellite images suggested mass killings were likely ongoing. Sharath Srinivasan, a professor of International Politics and fellow of King's College in Cambridge, shares his insights.
