Israel maintains military presence in Southern Lebanon amid Hezbollah tensions

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Sunday that Hezbollah is attempting to rearm and threatened that Israel would attack if Lebanon does not disarm the militant group. This warning comes as the Israeli military reported killing four Hezbollah members overnight. Sporadic Israeli strikes across the border have continued since a US-brokered truce in November 2024 between Lebanon and Israel.
