Throughout his US presidential campaign, Donald Trump criticised traditional news media. He also pivoted to appear on massively popular podcasts like Joe Rogan and the Nelk Boys. Democratic candidate Kamala Harris was criticised for not pursuing a similar strategy to shore up more support.
