Speaking with FRANCE 24's Peter O'Brien, Yann Saint Pierre, CEO and counter-terrorism consultant at the Modern Security Consulting Group, says that the Australian government's push for stricter gun laws "will only be superficial and not go at the heart of the problem", adding that "being able to work pre-emptively and monitoring of data and behaviours" is a lot more effective in combating terrorism.
