Thousands gathered in Tel Aviv's Hostages Square on Monday erupted in joy as Israeli hostages, held by Hamas for more than two years, were finally released.
The Red Cross convoys carrying Israeli hostages travelled through a tent-lined area of Gaza, as crowds cheered and a few masked, armed men guarded the route.
In both Israel and Gaza, the ceasefire and the start of the exchange on Monday brought relief after two devastating years of war.
