Ukrainian families who have opened their homes to children displaced by the war gathered in Kyiv on Tuesday for a Christmas celebration dinner.
Organised by the Kateryna Osadcha Foundation, the event brought together at least 55 foster families for an evening of music, performances and shared meals.
Some families had fled areas under occupation or active fighting and later took in additional children left without care.
Organisers said the gathering aimed to give children a sense of warmth and belonging, while highlighting the importance of family-based care during the holiday season.
