Average monthly earnings of employees in Cyprus increased by 5.4% in 2024, compared to 2023.
According to preliminary data from the Cyprus Statistical Service, the average gross monthly earnings of employees in the first quarter of 2025 are estimated at around €2,500 compared to €2,382 in the first quarter of 2024.
The average monthly remuneration of employees includes the basic salary, the index-linked bonus, overtime pay, the Central Holiday Fund, any allowances received by employees during the reporting period, as well as retroactive payments. Allowances include both fixed and non-fixed payments (13th salary, 14th salary, bonuses, etc.).
