With autumn comes the annual launch of Apple’s latest hardware, and rumours are already surfacing on what we can expect the company to drop.

Apple announced on Tuesday that it would hold a launch event at its campus on September 9. The company sent invites to the media and analysts with the tagline "Awe dropping".

Though the company has not given any clues as to what we can expect, it is widely thought that Apple will release a new iPhone.

Here is everything we know so far about the iPhone 17, Apple Watch, and AirPods.

As part of a three-year plan of iPhone reinvention, we could see a foldable iPhone next year, according to Bloomberg.

Two foldable iPhones were first reported in late 2024 by The Wall Street Journal, which also said that it would create another iPhone that is thinner than the approximately 8-millimetre profile of current models.

iPhone 17

The line-up of iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max is rumoured to get a slightly larger screen up by 0.2 inches compared to the iPhone 16.

It may also double its display to 120Hz and get a 24-megapixel front camera.

As for the price, it is expected to range from $800 (€700) for the cheaper version and the most advanced Pro Max version could cost as much as $1,250 (€1,100).

A new set of cases has also been leaked, which shows “TechWoven” iPhone Pro 17 cases featuring a woven material that could also come with a cross body strap.

Green and purple have also been leaked as new iPhone colours.

Another rumour being widely circulated is an iPhone 17 Air,  Bloomberg reported in January. It would be the company’s thinnest iPhone yet, shaving off two millimeters from the current iPhones. But it may only have one camera on the back and no speaker at the bottom of the iPhone.

Apple Watch

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is also anticipated to come out in September and see changes such as being able to identify high blood pressure levels, 5G support, and faster charging.

AirPod

The latest AirPod model came out in 2022, so we might see a new model out soon. Some rumours have pointed to a sleeker case and smaller earbuds.

However, we will have to wait until the September reveal to know more for certain.
