In spite of being only 150 meters squared in size, the new library offers over 16,000 books, including many from new publishing houses. The designers, pracownia Grzegorza Kłody GK-Atelier, made use of the unique space by incorporating undulating bookselves, allowing it to store larger amounts of books, as well as tables and a children's corner.

Laptops are also available on-site, allowing patrons to work in the space if needed. The library also has a self-service coffee machine, where visitors can enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or cocoa. Modern technology in the library allows visitors to borrow and return books independently, making it easier to access books. Board games are also available for visitors looking to relax and play with friends.

Also key to the library's innovations are a number of hydroponic plants, grown without soil under artificial lighting. These include vines, as well as fragrant herbs and flowers.

Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski commented on the opening of the library on X : "Didn't I say that the metro is a good place to read?" - he wrote in a post.

The library is not only a space for quiet reading, but also an educational space for the surrounding community. It plans to host author meetings, workshops, and classes for both children and adults.

The library is open on weekdays from 10-19, and is the result of cooperation between the Targówek Public Library and the Targówek District Council and Board and the Warsaw Metro Authority.
