Makeup of the US Congress is also in the hands of voters on Election Day

US voters head to the polls on Tuesday with US Vice President Kamala Harris and former president Donald Trump in a dead heat. But the future of the US Congress is also up for grabs, with voters choosing all 435 members of the House of Representatives and a third of the seats in the Senate. A spate of referenda are also on the ballot, on everything from abortion to trophy hunting.
