Libya's ancient city of Cyrene, one year after the deadly floods

The reconstruction of Derna is ongoing after 4,500 people died a year ago in Libya. On September 11, cyclone Daniel swept the region and two dams burst. The entire region of Cyrenaica’s archaeological site was also damaged. That heritage is under threat today.
