             The US embassy in Mali on Tuesday urged American citizens to "depart immediately using commercial aviation" as a fuel blockade by jihadists renders daily life increasingly dangerous. The al Qaeda-linked fighters have targeted fuel tankers in an apparent attempt to isolate the capital Bamako.
