Gen Z anti-corruption protests sweep Morocco for ninth night

Hundreds of young Moroccans took to the streets on Sunday for the ninth straight night of demonstrations calling for an end to corruption and a change of government. The rallies, organised online by the anonymous GenZ 212 collective, have spread across cities nationwide since September 27, shaking one of North Africa’s most stable countries.
