Designer Laduma Ngxkolo brings Xhosa avant-garde style to Paris fashion week

Laduma Ngxokolo is the man behind one of South Africa's most influential global exports. The Mahosa brand has been showcased around the world both in fashion and art circles. His designs have been displayed at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and he's a regular highlight of fashion weeks. He is currently at the Paris edition, where he is presenting his knitted looks rooted in Xhosa culture, while achingly modern.
