In South Africa, at least 9 people have died and 10 others injured after a group of gunmen carried out a shooting at a pub in the early hours on Sunday, according to authorities. The shooting comes after at least 11 people, including a child, were shot dead at a hostel near Pretoria earlier this month. The country has one of the highest murder rates in the world, with firearms the leading cause of death in homicides. Rachael Griffiths has more.
