Trump orders Israel to stop bombing Gaza after Hamas accepts peace plan

Israel was on Friday ordered to stop bombing the Gaza Strip by US President Donald Trump after Hamas said it had accepted some of his plan to end the nearly two-year war in the Palestinian enclave. Hamas said that it was willing to release hostages, but that some elements of the plan needed further negotiations.
