Trump addresses US military leaders, says country faces 'war from within'

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday on Tuesday said the army would be enlisted to quell civil disturbances and fight "the enemy from within" as he addressed hundreds of US military leaders from around the world at a base in Virginia. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth earlier announced directives for troops that include “gender-neutral” or “male-level” standards for physical fitness as well as an end to “woke” culture in the military.
