Three years after the assassination of Japan's former prime minister Shinzo Abe shocked the world, the murder trial opened Tuesday with the suspect pleading guilty. "Everything is true," Tetsuya Yamagami told a court in the western city of Nara, admitting the murder of the country's longest-serving leader in July 2022.
