South Korea said Monday it was "fully ready" to respond after North Korea ordered army units on the border to be "ready to open fire" amid a dispute over drone flights into the North. Tensions between the neighbouring countries grew as the North accused the South of sending drones to scatter a "huge number" of anti-North leaflets over Pyongyang, in what it called a political and military provocation that could lead to armed conflict.
