The Olympic flame for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Games began its journey from Olympia using a back-up flame after bad weather disrupted the ceremony. It will travel nearly 12,000 km across Greece and Italy, carried by 10,001 torchbearers, before reaching Milan’s San Siro stadium for the 6 February opening ceremony.
