Plastic-clogged 'Thinker' sculpture highlights pollution crisis as UN treaty talks begin

A towering replica of Rodin's "The Thinker" will gradually be engulfed in plastic waste outside the UN headquarters Monday as global talks are set to begin to finalise the world's first treaty on plastic pollution. The installation aims to highlight the growing burden of plastic on human health and future generations during the 10-day negotiations.
