Deadly waves have battered the coast of Tenerife, one of Spain’s Canary Islands, leaving three people dead and 15 others injured on Sunday.
A woman was pulled into the ocean at Puerto de la Cruz, while two men died in separate incidents in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Granadilla.
Rescue teams carried out several operations as authorities urged residents and tourists to stay away from coastal paths and avoid filming the rough seas.
