Iran recalls French, German and UK ambassadors ahead of fresh UN sanctions

Iran on Saturday recalled its ambassadors to France, Germany and the United Kingdom after the three nations pushed for “snapback” sanctions to be reimposed on Iran over its refusal to cooperate with the IAEA nuclear watchdog. The measure will freeze Iranian assets abroad and penalize any development of Iran’s ballistic missile program, among other measures.
