Today saw the final matches of the second round of group stage games. In group E, Equatorial Guinea lost to Sudan after an own goal by the National Thunder's Saul Coco. Algeria meanwhile got their ticket to the knockout stages thanks to a converted penalty in the first half. In group F, Gabon and Mozambique exchanged a flurry of shots on goal, in the end it was disappointment for Gabon as the Mambas won 3-2. Finally, Ivory Coast and Cameroon battled it out for the top of their group, but stayed level in a very tight game.
